Good evening MCHS parents and students, this is your principal Mr. David Johnson with a few important announcements. Parents, your child's attendance is very important. Classroom instruction starts at 8:30. We need all students at school ready to learn every day by 8:30. Also for those students that need to make up attendance and need to receive help with their assignments, attendance recovery and the bulldog boost afterschool tutoring program is held Monday thru Thursday from 3:30-5:30pm. Parents, if you have not met with your child's counselor about their IGP (class schedule) for 24-25 school year, please call the high school and set up an appointment. MCHS Black History Program will be tomorrow, February 29th @ 2:00 in the gymnasium. Please come out and celebrate with our students and staff the legacy and culture of (HBCU) Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Students continue to strive for excellence and parents thank you so much for all that you do to support Marlboro County High School.

The Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Night, will be held Tuesday, February 13th, with dinner beginning at 5 pm in the cafeteria, followed by IGP sessions beginning at 5:30 pm in the media center. Our Dinner menu consists of Bake Chicken or Hamburger Steak, Rice, Gravy, Green Beans, Desserts, Tea and Lemonade. Please use the link on the Marlboro County High School or District webpage to RSVP to ensure we have an accurate count for dinner. Parents as we prepare for registering your child for the 24/25 school year, your input for your child's schedule is important. Thank you so much for your continued support.
