Dear parents, staff and students, this is Principal David Johnson and I want to say thank you for an awesome start to the 24/25 school year! As we begin our first full week, I want to remind our students of the dress code policy. Those students that are not in compliance with the dress code will not be allowed to stay at school if it can't be corrected. Parents, you will receive a phone call from the school to pick up your child. Also, please be reminded that school starts at 8:30 am. We need our students at school on time ready for instruction. The drop-off area for car riders is in the front of the school and not in the bus and student parking lot. Please reframe from dropping students off in those areas. The success of Marlboro County High School depends on the partnership that we forge now with our students, parents, and community. Let's work together to form a strong bond to ensure the success of each and every child that walks through our doors. Our theme this year at MCHS is "See The Possibilities"!

Good evening parents and guardians, This message is to address recent promotion and retention concerns. If your child received a report card which states retained, this means they are currently off track for graduation and did not meet the board approved promotion requirements. Please review your child's report card and contact your child's counselor to discuss options for remediation, additional questions and concerns. A follow-up detailed letter will be shared. It is our goal to ensure all students are on track and making adequate progress towards graduation. Thank you for your support.
