Rotary Club Sponsoring Interact Club to the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference

Anikka Arroyo, Laqueastia Bridges, and Kalia Thomas all rising seniors and active members of the Marlboro County High School Interact Club were approved by the Rotary Club of Bennettsville to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award training that will take place at Columbia College on June 23-25, 2017.  The three-day motivational leadership training is designed to develop sound leadership skills and values for rising high school juniors and seniors. 

The benefits that the participants will derive from attending the seminar include personal growth and development through interaction with peers and outstanding business, political, and community leaders. Each participant will receive a $1,200 per year Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) scholarship at Columbia College upon Columbia College acceptance which is renewable for four years.
