MCHS Students Attend Limestone Honor Band Clinic

On February 1-3, Marlboro County High School band program sent 5 students to participate in the annual Limestone College High School Honor Band Clinic, where Dr. Shelby Chipman, Director of Bands at Florida A & M University, served as the guest clinician. Dr. Patrick Carney, Director of Bands at Limestone College, along with Mr. Joseph Earp, Assistant Director of Bands at Limestone College, hosted 182 students from 35 high schools from North Carolina and South Carolina, including Marlboro County High School band students Ericka Bethea, Jameson Blue, Tanaia Bridges, Avante’ Covington, and Rakwon Sellers. An outstanding job was done by all who participated in this event. The Marlboro County High School Band is under the direction of Mrs. Karalda Perkins.
