DECA Attends Career Conference in North Charleston

DECA Career Conference

Congratulations to the following DECA students for taking the stage at the DECA Career Conference in North Charleston, SC March 2-4. The following students were recognized in the top 10 of their event combining test and role play scores: Adasia Talley- Business Services, Kelifia Gillespie- Food Marketing, Darian O'Neal- Marketing Communications, Tramont Miles- Restaurant & Food Service Management, Andrea Sprattling- Sports & Entertainment Marketing, Laqueastia Bridges & Jonathan Jacobs- Hospitality Services Team, Tyree’s Sloan and Kelsey Cole -Employment Acquisition.  Adasia Talley also placed 5th place in her event. Students also attended a Leadership Academy workshop in developing 21st Century skills. Kalia Thomas, Jada Ford, and Kelsey Cole represented our chapter as voting delegates. MCHS DECA was also recognized by national DECA and SC DECA for reaching gold membership status. SC DECA is celebrating 75 years as we continue to develop emerging leaders in marketing, management, finance and entrepreneurship careers.
