DECA Students Attend the SC DECA Career Development Conference

Marlboro County High School DECA students attended the SC DECA Career Development Conference in North Charleston March 3-5.  Students competed in test and role plays in the following areas of Hotel and Lodging Marketing, Human Resources Management, Principles of Hospitality and Tourism, Sports and Entertainment Marketing and Accounting Applications.  Students also attended a Leadership Academy workshop in developing 21st Century skills. The following students who attended are Tyla Quick (placed top 10 of Accounting Applications), Jada Ford (placed top 10 of Principles of Hospitality and Tourism), Marneshia Quick (placed top 10 of Hotel and Lodging Marketing), Kalia Thomas, Kelsey Cole, Andrea Sprattling, and Tyrone Alford.  Advisors are Rhonda Van Pelt and Hiltra Watson.
