The MCHS Chapter of the National Beta Club will meet immediately after school the first Tuesday of each month. 

MCHS will offer the driver's permit test four times during the first semester of the 2009 - 2010 school year. Test dates are September 10th, October 8th, November 5th, and December 3rd.

The holiday season is not “just the season to be jolly” but it is time for all to give back to those less fortunate in the community. The Marlboro County High School student leadership/PBIS leadership team set the example for the entire student body by orchestrating a school wide non-perishable food drive for the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Bennettsville.

Marlboro County High School's Mane Attraction Salon officially opened for business on October 21, 2009.  The hours of operation are Thursday - Friday from 12:00 until 3:00 P.M.

This year's Homecoming was MCHS's 20th.

Each of the newly designated Triple Crown winners signed their distinctive winners banner, a 10 year tradition at Marlboro County High School.

The State Schools of Character (SSOC) competition is a way for schools and districts in many states to receive recognition at the state level for exemplary character education programs. Through the SSOC competition, state sponsors from more than half the states in the U.S. give SSOC awards to schools and districts
